Senator Lito Lapid A New Kapamilya Star






Other than Iza Calzado, Senator Lito Lapid has also signed a contract with ABS-CBN on Tuesday, January 24, just before the impeachment trial resumed at the Senate. ABS-CBN’s executives including president Charo Santos-Concio was present during the signing of the contract.

Senator Lito Lapid reveals that his first project will be a teleserye were he will be playing a mentor role. The said teleserye’s working title is “The Little Champ“. He added, “‘The Little Champ’ parang ako ang magtuturo sa bata. Parang style Jackie Chan. Ito ay teleserye na pambata“.

According to the senator, it would be his first time to act on television.

He is also hoping to do a film under Star Cinema. When he asked which female star he would like to have as his leading lady, he stated “Ako hindi ako namimili kung sino ang bagay sa role. Bahala na ang producer at director.“
