Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler crowned as Miss America 2012. The prestigous pageant held its 91st Miss America pageant at the Theatre for the Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on January 14, 2012 broadcasted via ABC.

She received $2000 scholarship for winning the talent portion of the contest with her rendition of the Luigi Arditi waltz while in the swimsuit competition, she wore a white bikini.
